RIP Microsoft Professional Program

Was my write-up of an aging certification program that needed maintenance what ended the Microsoft Professional Program? 100% clearly definitely certainly yes.

Microsoft Didn't Want to Update Content

I received the following email today:

Welp. Glad I paid for that one.

I cannot say I'm surprised given my write-up in my previous posts (found here and here) saying that much of the content was not inherently bad but definitely needed updating. Could a model like this have worked? Probably, but there is so much noise in the changing world of academics, certifications, and training sites that Microsoft probably has something else cooking and did not want to invest in something that did not return massive value.

I definitely do not blame them, but man, could I get my money and time back? No?
